Oh yeah, it's that time of year again. People Magazine is announcing it/s choice for the Sexiest Man alive. The editors have been pouring over pictures, crunching the numbers. And after months of hard work, executive editor Jess Cagle is here with their decision. Jess, good morning.

Alright let's end the suspense right now. who is People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive?

The Sexiest Man Alive 2008 is Hugh Jackman. There he is.

I think it's a good choice.

Tell us how you came to the choice. Because there are a lot of contenders out there.

A lot of contenders. We like Hugh Jackman because he is one, a surprising choice. Also he's been on our minds for a long time, and it seemed like this was the year to do him. He shot an X Man movie that's all of his own, about Wolverine. It's coming out next year. He has a big romantic epic opening very soon, called Australia. And as Nicole Kidman says, he is tough and romantic at the same time. And that sort of sums it up. Seems like the right time for, for Hugh Jackman.

And we should mention, by the way, I mean, some of the photos you have in there. He's got a nice body to go along with, that gentle...

Oh my gosh. He's built like a tank.

If you have a body like that, it's only a matter of time before you are Sexiest Man Alive. There are always the, the paparazzi are always getting him on the beach.

He's been on the beach a lot lately, right?

With his shirt off, playing with his kids. I mean there's nothing sexier than that.

Now we should mention beside the official title holder, your entire issue is dedicated to Sexy Men.

And of course that couldn't be complete without the likes of George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

George Clooney and Brad Pitt, they are both on the list again, and they've both been the Sexiest Man Alive like twice. So we decided to give them a rest. Similar give them more leisure.
