President Bush has speaking about Iran's capture of fifteen British sailors and marines. He calls the service members "hostages" and says it is inexcusable for Tehran to continue to hold them.

Attorney General Alberto Gonzales is getting another vote of confidence from his boss. Gonzales has been getting a heavy dose of criticism from both sides of the aisle over the firings of eight federal attorneys. Saturday, however, President Bush called him honorable and honest, and says he has his full confidence.

At least three dozen people have been killed in a spate of bombings in Iraq. At least five people died in this explosion near a hospital in Baghdad's Sadr City. The attacks kept a week in which sectarian violence claimed at least five hundred lives around the country.
